What we do

Internships

We connect members to real internships at Bay Area startups, small businesses, and nonprofits.

Program

Real work, while you're in high school.

Most high schoolers wait until college to do business work that matters. We don't. The internship program connects WBE members to local companies and nonprofits who need real help and are willing to mentor a student through it.

How it works

Three steps.

01

Apply through the club

Members fill out a short application — what you're interested in, what you've done, and what schedule you can keep.

02

We match you with a partner

We pair you with a local company or nonprofit based on fit. Officers and our advisor handle the introduction and set expectations on both sides.

03

Work, learn, ship

Most internships are part-time during the school year or full-time over summer. You report back to the club so future members can build on what you learned.
